LIVRET INDIVIDUEL

UNIT/TMHS DUES
Unit dues are $10 per campaign season (Sept. to May). Each member must also pay TMHS dues of $20.00 per campaign season (year) to the TMHS Treasurer. TMHS also charges a $5 per person battle fee at each tactical battle. The unit treasurer keeps the unit funds, and is required to give an accounting at every unit meeting. Disbursement of these funds is decided by a unit vote.

FIRST TIMERS
No one is allowed to "walk-on" at an event.
New members are asked to contact a unit member to be "sponsored" in. First timers must have all of the minimum required equipment at their first battle. First-timers are exempt from fees/dues and TMHS grooming regulations, at their first battle only. Recruits and new members are encouraged not to buy anything before finding out if it can be used or not! Unit "loaner" gear is available on a limited basis.

CLASS 3 DEVICES
All Class 3 devices used by the members of the FFI must be legally registered, and be accompanied by a copy of the Class 3 papers and photo ID while attending events. Anyone found to have an unregistered weapon or destructive device will be asked to leave (an event) immediately, and faces possible expulsion from the unit.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
Policy concerning illegal drugs and weapons corresponds with the TMHS rule book.

MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING
When a new member has paid dues, attended two TMHS tactical battles as an FFI member and has passed an authenticity inspection, he/she will be issued an FFI brassard (armband), personal ID papers and will be considered a member in good standing. The armband remains unit property and must be returned in satisfactory condition in the event of leaving the unit. If a member misses three events in a row, he/she loses good standing status.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE
Neatly trimmed moustaches and beards are permitted, however, a short military style haircut for men is required, per TMHS rules. “Long” hair is permitted for women only. Female unit members may not wear makeup, earrings or nail polish in the field, unless she is portraying a civilian noncombattant.
Unit members will be given one warning for unauthentic gear or clothing, repeated violations may result in expulsion from the unit.
One hour after an individual arrives at an event, he or she should be in "uniform" and modern vehicles should be out of the barracks/camp area. Individuals should remain in "uniform" for the duration of an event. “Uniform” includes brassard and ID papers.

UNIT ORGANIZATION
The maquis currently consists of two "sixes" (five men and a sergent). Five "sixes" would form a trente (thirty). The sergents are chosen by vote, or can be temporarily appointed by the captain. Each sergent is entitled to appoint subordinates and organize the six as he sees fit. The sergent is also entitled to delegate authority and responsibility to any of his subordinates.
The maquis is under the command of a captain and a lieutenant. Presently, the captain and lieutenant perform the duties of sergents until such time as there are enough members for a third six. The lieutenant will be elected by a unit majority vote, usually at the first tactical battle of the season.

AWARDS
A certificate can be given for extraordinary actions and accomplishments on the battlefield requiring skill, dedication, initiative and/or leadership, to members in good standing. The event and individual must be mentioned in an Allied after-action report, and the lieutenant and captain must approve the award.
A small brass cross of Lorraine pin is awarded to members in good standing after they have attended six consecutive (both days) battles.

"VICHY" POLICY
FFI members can be temporarily or permanently suspended from the unit for intentionally firing on or betraying Allies; or giving information and/or aid to the enemy. Suspension decided by a unit vote.

ALTERNATE IMPRESSIONS
To maintain “member in good standing” status, unit members are discouraged from alternate impressions within TMHS. However, it is acceptable to attend one Sunday battle per campaign season in an alternate impression, if invited to do so. This will not break your “string”.

CIVILIANS
Anyone wishing to portray an “innocent” civilian must wear period civilian clothing, and carry appropriate ID cards and papers. No uniform parts, insignia, military equipment, contraband or weapons should be worn or carried. Civilians fall under the maquis chain-of-command. TMHS is currently designing a set of guidelines for noncombattants, including medics, MP's, and civilians. The results will be posted here.

TRUCK POLICY
When the Citroen is up and going to events, the driver must be "checked out", and only people checked out as drivers will be allowed behind the wheel. Everyone else rides according to their "points". Points are earned each day spent working on or maintaining the truck. So if you spend two days working on it, you have two points. Unit members with the most points get priority seats in the truck, with those holding fewer points finding room until the max capacity is reached of 8 riders and their gear.
