Dans la mémoire
de Stephen et Kurt
Two TMHS members, Stephen Huff and Kurt Mays, were killed
in a car accident on March 1, 2003. Kurt was a member of the British Oxfordshire
and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, and Stephen (Chasseur) was with the
Maquis de l'As de Cur. They were returning from dinner, just after
the Camp Gruber 2003 D-Day event in Oklahoma, when their minivan was hit
by someone who ran a stop sign. Three others with them were severly injured
but survived. Stephen was a dependable and determined unit sniper, and
friend. Kurt was a good Brit, and leaves a wife and son.
Events, and life, won't be the same without them. They
are sorely missed.
The life that I have is all that
I have,
And the life that I have is yours.
The love that I have of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours.
A sleep I shall have, a rest I shall
have,
Yet death will be but a pause,
For the peace of my years in the long green grass
Will be yours and yours and yours.
